Job Description
The Lab Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the organization's laboratory facilities. This includes managing lab personnel, resources, and equipment, coordinating lab activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Manager will also collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory authorities to support lab operations and facilitate the achievement of organizational goals.

Additionally, the Manager will participate in the development of lab processes, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise lab personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate and oversee lab activities, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
• Develop and implement lab processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain lab equipment and supplies, coordinating repairs and replacements as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support lab operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of lab-related projects and initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze lab performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to lab processes and activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in lab operations and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, such as biology or chemistry.
• Proven experience in lab operations or a similar role, preferably in a scientific or research environment.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in laboratory settings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
