Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Explore and analyze demographic data within UAE, including urbanization trends;
  • Evaluation report on the status quo of competencies at the relevant departments of the beneficiary in respect to the required consultancy;
  • A report with executive recommendations accompanied with executable action program to enhance the work of the beneficiary in accordance with the output of the evaluation report;
  • Assist in reviewing all relevant demographic studies and reports previously done;
  • Analyze reliability of demographic data
  • Sort out the valid data as inputs;
  • Coordinate with statistics bureau in preparing final tables of demographic data;
  • Report on best practices for demographic data dissemination;
  • Present monthly progress report on deliverables achieved and future recommendations for the way forward.

Requirements:


  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in demography, statistics, social sciences or economics with an emphasis on demography.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the area of demographic and statistical analysis;
  • Knowledge of methods of demographic analysis and theories pertaining to demographic change and population trends;
  • Detailoriented;
  • Advanced experience in statistical programming;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus.

Salary:
AED1, AED12,817.25 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
