The Blasting/ Painting Supervisor coordinates and manages activities of workers engaged in surface preparation as per the project's scope of work.

He monitors and determines the painting needs of the project and ensures that resources are available for the timely completion of the project.


By handling the overseeing and actioning of corrosion work, the supervisor helps to prevent downtime and keep business processes ticking over smoothly.

The important aspects of the role include looking at areas of improvement such as production quality, manpower safety, and machinery maintenance as an ongoing process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support Project Manager and Site Engineers for seamless shift operations
  • Attend client meetings and liaison with Clients on project progress
  • Obtain work permits necessary to carry out the site activities
  • Ensure full PPE, HSE and housekeeping compliance at the site
  • Conducting Daily Toolbox Meeting for the entire team.
  • Follow up for production tasks, delegate them and oversee successful execution of daytoday tasks
  • Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Maintaining the daily consumption record of consumables, painting materials, fuel, abrasives, etc.
  • Monitor, track and maintain inventory records for Site supplies.
  • Maintain logbook and records of ongoing production works on a daily basis for the project.
  • Manage the manpower deployed by supervising and monitoring the site labour force.
  • Plan the work and efficiently organize the site production activities to meet the agreed deadlines.
  • Prepare Daily Briefing reports, Inspection reports on Quality and Safety.
  • Ensure quality control and health and safety matters on site & prepare reports as required.
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
  • Provide operational support in daily attendance, weekly reporting to quarterly evaluations of the staff.
  • Strong communication with PM, Engineering, Supervisors, Foremen and Clients for efficient project handling
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
AED2, AED2,500.00 per month
