Machinery Mechanic - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - IIQAFGROUP

Description

• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning at optimal levels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure repairs have been successful and equipment is functioning properly
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to avoid future breakdowns and prolong the life of machinery
• Act as a resource for fellow team members in regards to mechanical issues and repairs
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a sense of urgency
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and on-call shifts as needed
