Job SummaryThe position involvessupporting the ongoing development and management of UAEU websitesportal and the development of custom web applications. The WebApplication Developer will also be responsible for providingtechnical advice and guidance to others asappropriate.

• Develop and maintaintemplates layouts and Cascading StyleSheets.
• Responsible for web application designand development.
• Responsible to provide postgolive support for web applications.
• Adhere toweb development best practices.
• Prepare testplans for web applications for UAT.
• Documentall web applications including user and technicalguides.
• Support system administrators anddatabase administrator while moving web applications from test toproduction through change managementprocess.
• Make recommendations for improving webdevelopment process as deemed necessary.
• Otherduties as assigned.

Knowledge andTechnical Skills requiredHandson experience in Internettechnologies and programming including HTML Active Server Pages(ASP) ASP.NET VBScript Visual Basic andJavaScript.

RequiredSkills

• Proven working experience increating database driven websites.
• Workingknowledge of other server side languages and client side languageslike PHP JSP XML SQL and Java.
• Provenexperience in using industry standard web developmenttools.
• Knowledge of using graphics designsoftware like Photoshop and Flash will be aplus.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technology or relateddiscipline.
• Minimum of three years ofexperience in web development in an enterpriseenvironment.
