KeyAccountabilities

• Leads the research, collation andbenchmarking of international OSR regulations, quality standardsand best practice in order to establish a comprehensive knowledgerepository to support progressive strategy formulation andeffective decision-making at the Senior Managementlevel.
• Advises on the implementation offunctional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controlscovering all areas of the OSR functions so that all the relevantrequirements are fulfilled while delivering HSE-compliant andcost-effective emergency response services in a consistentmanner.
• Develops, seeks approval andfacilitates the implementation of standard operating procedures(SOPs) for all oil spill machinery and operations across ADNOC inorder to ensure resource optimisation and effective operations asper defined HSE standards.
• Provides expertiseon numerous technical aspects of the oil spill responsedepartment's activities, such as the choice of equipment,materials, sub-contractors, etc., in order to shape thedepartment's technical decision-making as per the corporateobjectives and leading marketpractices.
• Supports the design and delivery ofOSR training plans to ensure they are technically fit-for-purposeand aligned with the best-in-class emergency responsemethods.
• Attends specialised crisis andemergency fairs and conferences to represent ADNOC so that thecompany is informed about the latest market practices, innovationsand developments.
• Reviews the Group CompanyAssets' Tier 1 Emergency Response Plans and highlights anypotential improvement areas in order to help raise OSR'sawareness, preparedness and capabilities across the ADNOCgroup.
• Supports and counsels the OSR teams,upon notification of an emergency, to ensure efficient and accuraterisk assessment as well as appropriate and responsive disasterrelief (Tier 2 and 3 emergencies).
• Remainson-call as per the duty roster in order to respond in a timelymanner to Tier 2 and 3 emergencies
  
  

MinimumQualification

Bachelor'sDegree in Marine Engineering, Marine Management, Engineering orequivalent

Minimum Experience,Knowledge & Skills

Atleast 10 years of experience experience in the crisis and emergencyfield, preferably in the oil & gasindustry
