    Responsibilities

    Oversee and support your dedicated intake team members throughout the prescription life cycle. Validate information on new patients demographics, prescription, benefit verification (MM vs PB) and assign to intake team member Audit the intake team's workflow per intake representative's job description Communicate with Operations Manager/PIC regarding referral and prescription status Communicate with Pre Authorization team supervisor about Pre authorization status Responsible for keeping staff current with payer requirements and RE Pharmacy policy and procedures related to the intake process and software

    functions.

    Understands and adheres to all applicable company policies and state and federal regulations and ensures Intake staff adherence. Work weekly with other intake supervisors to ensure consistent adherence to processes and procedures Identify inefficient processes and monitor workload of staff, making recommendations to the Operations Manager/PIC Participate in and coordinate training for all new intake staff, review and approve timecards, assist with performance reviews and quarterly goals

    assessment.

    Develop comprehensive training program for intake teams in coordination with other intake supervisors Communicate clearly and professionally, both in written form and orally, with internal and external customers Follow up with patient and doctor reviews both by social media and survey

    Other Responsibilities

    Review reports daily to identify patient accounts that are untouched for 48 hours Randomly review your team's patient files for accuracy and expediency Provide additional training to team for uncovered weaknesses Randomly observe team members in all aspects of their duties Meet with Operations Manager/PIC and align goals weekly

    Requirements


    Minimum of three (3) years experience collecting referral information in the healthcare market (required) 3 years of experience with Speciality or Infusion Pharmacy.

    (preferred) Working knowledge of Managed Care, Commercial Insurance, Medicare and Medical insurance Working knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy laws and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
