    This would be an ideal role for someone with a technical background within the Energy Sector who has experience in sales.

    Responsibilities

    - Accountabilities

    • Lead Generation: Identify relevant new business opportunities within the named Supplier and Customer accounts.
    • Conversion of leads into inquiries to deliver measurable revenue growth.
    • Build and maintain excellent relationships within several named Suppliers and Customer accounts where IRE may or may not have an existing business. You will engage with several different departments and tiers of management within these accounts.
    • Carry out the actions/tasks/strategies within Supplier and Customer Account Plans to maximise revenue growth.
    • Maintain a balanced product and client mix to ensure diversity and reduce dependency on a small number of accounts.
    • Maintain the highest levels of product, industry, territory & competitor knowledge to ensure IRE remains competitive in the marketplace. Spot trends, identify customer/supplier/industry demands, and then report those to management and suppliers.
    • Maintain sales funnel from lead generation, sales pitch, negotiation, and closing of deals.
    • Develop, monitor, and drive your KPIs.
    • Contribute to developing and executing future marketing campaigns to increase market awareness. Provide ongoing technical expertise, both internal and external.

    - Duties:

    • Report weekly account activity, including emails, meetings, calls and other business development activities, to management.
    • Spend approximately 50% of your time outside doing meetings (including product presentations) with assigned customer accounts throughout the region.
    • Ensure all customer interaction and information is kept updated in company CRM and shared with the rest of the organisation.
    • An active presence on LinkedIn to develop new leads and opportunities.
    • Collect customer feedback and successes/failures to feed into IRE Quality, Sales and Marketing departments.

    Requirements

    • Degree Educated, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or any other related field
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
    • A strategic thinker who has strong commercial acumen and an analytical mind who is interested in the industry
    • Minimum 3 years in a related role, either technical or sales (required)
    • Minimum 3 Years in Oil & Gas/Energy Sector (required)
    • Intermediate Level Microsoft Office User (Word, Excel. Outlook) (required)
    • Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferable).
    • UAE Driver's Licensed (required)
    • Can join immediately (maximum 30 days' notice)
