What youll bedoing

The Commercial Finance Manageris responsible for managing the monthly financial reporting andcontrol cycle of different business units. He/she performscorporate controller tasks related to balance sheet and cash flowmanagement and supports the Finance Manager through high valueaddedanalysis on performance and control.

• Drive the budget and revision processes by delegatingresponsibilities to budget controllers and coordinating with otherdepartments on information requirements.
• Provide support to budget controllers to allow them toprogress as fast as possible and supervise in a subtle manner thequality reliability and accuracy of work delivered bythem
• Refine the management reporting toincorporate and evaluate all key performance indicators thatmanagement requires to be able to follow business profitability andits drivers.
• Coordinate and direct thepreparation of monthly quarterly and annual budgets financialforecasts core financial planning and analysis proposal ratesprofit plans and schedules instating and maintaining other planningand control procedures and analyzing and reporting of variances tolocal management
• Provide detailed monthlyoperating results and analysis of cost per cost center and costtype analyzing main variances with latest revision budget andprevious year.
• Anticipate financial problemsand recommend action plans for budget control.
• Assist the Finance Manager in the implementation of Groupinternal control procedures in order to verify the integrity of allfinancial information ensure and maintain historicalrecords.
• Work closely with the FinancialManager to ensure that expenses are on target with projections andthat the company operates within budget parameters.
• Assist the Management and Financial Manager ensuring thatoperational areas are managed efficiently and effectively to insurea low administrative cost and preparing the annual budgetsforecasts and cash flow analysis.
• Develop andinterpret of statical and accounting information in order toappraise operating results in terms of profitability performanceagainst budget and other maters bearing on the operatingeffectiveness of the company.
• Establish majoreconomic objectives and policies for the company and preparereports that outline the companys financial position in the areasof income expenses and earnings based on past present and futureoperations.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuringthe financial and operating performance of divisions anddepartments.
• Oversee Compile and analyze dailyoperations and financial information of the financedepartment.
• Prepare and review weeklyfinancial forecasts and longrange financial plans.
• Direct the monthly quarterly and yearend close activitiesto insure meatily and accurately compliance with corporate melines.
• Act as finance advisory and makerecommendations to the board to allow the business to make informedstrategic managerial and operational decisions.
• Ensure all finance records are kept accurately andsecurely and in line with legislative requirements

What youll need to succeed

• Minimum 14 years of experience inFinance
• Background in Fashion / Luxury orRetail
• Proven track report of managementskills
