    • In a small-scale project, capableto act as Project Director during construction phase and liaisewith Project Director for commercialissues.
    • Oversee that the construction areas areconstructed in a safe manner and to the required quality standardswithin agreed budget, schedule, and constructionsequence.
    • Establish a good and transparentrelationship with Client's siterepresentative.
    • Ensure that appropriatelicenses, permissions prior to start of site preparation, set upinfrastructure facilities and mobilization of manpower atSite.
    • Review the Project & Constructionscope, Construction BOQs, Project execution plan and assess theschedule and finalize the construction deliverables such asConstruction Execution Plan, Subcontracting Strategy, ConstructionManagement Team Organization, Construction Manpower Mobilization /Demobilization plan, Site set-up checklistetc.
    • Implements the requirements of theConstruction Execution Plan, mobilization, temporary facilities,site staffing, modularization (if applicable), heavy liftsequencing, fabrication scope, laydown requirements, equipment andfabricated items delivery sequencing, equipment and toolrequirements, demobilization, etc.
    • Verify theSubcontractor's execution plan at an early stage andapprove only if it aligns with Petrofac deliverables (documents andmaterials). Challenge Subcontractor for a more efficient executionplan inline within schedule, safety and qualityrequirements.
    • Develops a clear organizationchart for the construction personnel on site (area wise) andprepare a staffing with a histogram for all constructionsupervisors and trades personnel.
    • Participatesin project model reviews and constructabilityreviews.
    • Conducts Kickoff meeting withsubcontractor & approve all subcontractordocumentation.
    • Contributes to 90 days &3-weeks look-ahead plans, implements work in agreedsequence.
    • Works to a 6 month look aheadschedule and supports the construction contractors by removingimpediments to progress, assist in the development of theirconstruction schedule, agrees a construction sequence (path ofconstruction), and confirms that the contractors have thematerials, engineering deliverables, tools, and resources requiredfor successful execution and complete delivery within the requiredtime frame.
    • Present and share the benefits ofimplementing Project Production Control (daily progress monitoring)during the execution of the project to Petrofac site team as wellas to the subcontractor.
    • Generates regularprogress reports for review by projectmanagement
    • Responsible to manageSubcontractor's within allocatedbudget.
    • Strong advocate for qualityconstruction installations and ensuring that we construct the rightway, the first time, in adherence to project and corporate qualityassurance policies and procedures. Supports the implementation ofQinC initiative "Right FirstTime".
    • Review the requirements forthe maintenance of temporary facilities
    • Managethe construction team creating an atmosphere of cooperation andteam spirit.
    • Familiar with project andsubcontractor contracts, and records all changes in accordance withManagement of Change procedure
    • Approves andmonitors all vendor mobilizations after agreeing call-out terms,start date, scope of work and anticipated duration. Any and allrequested mobilizations that are not fully covered by the initialproject budget are to be referred to the Project Director forapproval, with explanation of cost/scheduleover-run.
    • Complete & Review Go/No Gochecklist prior to subcontractor mobilization on site and prior tostart of critical activities.
    • Involvement insurveillance programme (Quality Observation Card QOC, DailySurveillance Report DSR, Quality Walkthrough FindingQWF).
    • Reviews the Site Technical Queries raisedby subcontractors and assigns responsible person and action owners;approves the response.
    • Identify site relatedrisks, their probability and consequences through a structuredapproach.
