About Our Client:

Our client a leading government entity in AbuDhabi is looking for a Head of Financial Accounting &Reporting who will be responsible for overseeing the financialreporting process ensuring compliance with accounting standardsmanaging internal controls and maintaining stakeholderrelationships.

What you will do:

• Providing leadership to the financialreporting team to ensure timely delivery of all financialstatements.
• Manage the completion of theannual statutory accounts process.
• Developbusiness processes accounting policies & testing plans tomaintain & strengthen internal controls.
• Manage the consolidation & monthend process todeliver a timely & accurate monthly reporting timetable.
• Ensure compliance with the appropriateaccounting standards & maintenance of Group accountingmanual.
• Development of financial systems andreporting.
• Liaise with internal externalAudit and regulators to develop and maintain stakeholderrelationships.
• Review policies to deliverconfidence in results.

What theydo expect from you:

• At least 10years of experience in a Senior Reporting / Group Finance role(Minimum of 5 years UAE proven experience).
• Qualified ACA CIMA or ACCA or QBE.
• Experience working in one of the Big 4 companies.
