Roles & Responsibilities


Contribute to implementing and maintaining an effective Health, Safety and Environment System on site to ensure all activities as far as reasonably practicable are conducted in a safe manner under the guidelines set and controlled by the Company HSE policy and associated documentation.


  • Development of Health and Safety internal policies, procedures and working practices.
  • Promote safety conduct of all work on site and in the mention records.
  • Conducts risk assessments, job hazard analyses and develops strategies for facilitating employee health and safety risks.
  • Conducts regular/sudden site inspections to ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepares & maintain accurate records and documentation of HSE activities, incidents, and training.
  • Investigates and reports on all personal injury accidents and damage to property occur and document in an incident report.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of Health and Safety best practices and industry policy changes
  • Produces health and safety related reports, bulletins, advises on a range of specialist areas including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
  • Provides safety orientations and oversee the performance of all contractors in order to ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness in case of an emergency.
  • Carries out regular safety and security inspections of various company facilities, systems and equipment, including firstaid rooms, construction areas, electrical systems, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Provides immediate support and assistance in the event of an emergency.
  • Establishes mechanisms to meet international standards: including Quality Management systems (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO & Occupational Health and safety (OHSAS 18001)
  • To comply and act as liaison with all related governmental bodies, authorities, and adhere to their requirements such as OSHAD, OHSMS audit etc.
  • Attend meetings, workshops and conferences as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Ensure workers use correct PPE for the type of work being carried out.
  • Ensure to process documents as per ISO standard requirements like support for any revision /inclusion of process/formats etc, support for closure of all findings raised during internal & external audits and ensure it is closed.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, related to safety aspects to its employees in the site.
  • Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science.
  • Has NEBOSH international General Certificate, Certified Safety Professional, ISOH, OSHAD practitioner course certificate, First aid & CPR certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations.
  • Advanced MS Office skills & familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
  • Time management and organization skills

Pay:
AED4, AED6,000.00 per month
