    Description

    Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and support various application projects, including Salesforce implementation, ERP system enhancement, business applications, website development, and mobile app projects. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding client business needs, analyzing requirements, and translating them into actionable plans for successful project execution.

    Responsibilities

    1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including client business users, project managers, and technical teams, to elicit and document project requirements.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps, improvements, and opportunities.
    • Prepare comprehensive and clear requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, and other relevant documentation.

    2. Solution Design and Documentation:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design effective and efficient solutions that align with business objectives and project requirements.
    • Document solution designs, system architectures, data models, and integration approaches.
    • Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to visualize and validate proposed solutions.

    3. Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Assist project managers in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
    • Coordinate with development teams, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

    4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
    • Conduct workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather feedback, validate requirements, and address concerns.
    • Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders regarding project progress, milestones, and potential risks.

    5. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
    • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered solutions.
    • Assist in defect tracking, troubleshooting, and resolution.

    6. User Training and Support:

    • Help develop training materials, user guides, and documentation for end-users.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on new systems, features, and processes.
    • Provide post-implementation support and address user queries and issues.

    Requirements

    1. Previous experience working as a Business Analyst in the IT industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferably with a focus on application projects such as Salesforce implementation, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), website development, and mobile apps and content management systems (CMS)
    2. Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    3. Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
    4. Excellent documentation skills to create clear and comprehensive requirement specifications, user stories, and other relevant documentation.
    5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    6. Strong understanding of business processes and workflows across different functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
    7. Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
    8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze complex business requirements, identify gaps, and propose innovative and practical solutions.
    9. Experience in conducting user training sessions, workshops, or presentations to educate and onboard end-users on new systems and functionalities.
    10. Knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, and database concepts to support data-related aspects of application projects.
    11. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate potential challenges, mitigate risks, and propose process improvements or optimizations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant work experience and certifications can also be considered.
    2. Additional certifications related to business analysis, project management, or relevant technologies (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Certified Scrum Master) would be an asset.
