Description

1. Prepares and/or reviews preliminarydesigns, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimatesrelated to the project.

2. Performs a hands-onrole as Project Engineer and coordinates a team of otherarchitects, structural engineers and MEPengineers.

3. Communicate with clientrepresentatives, consultant, site engineers and subcontractors onissues related to architectural works.

4. Reviewarchitectural shop drawings for compliance with IBC Code, localrequirements, project specifications, and tenderfees.

5. Review subcontractor drawings to ensurecompliance with specifications and contract agreements by examiningthem for technical accuracy in accordance with accepted principles.Approval and signing of plans that meet the requiredspecifications.

6. Inspection of contractorsubmissions such as Inspector of Labor Request (ITR), and MaterialInspection Request (MIR).

7. Attend coordinationmeetings with the project team, client, subcontractors and otherstakeholders

8. Proceed as per engineersinstructions and Notice of Change (NOV).

9. Siteinspection and building supervision during and after constructionfor architectural quality, public safety, and compliance withspecifications and codes.

10. Issuing site workinstructions and a non-conformity report asappropriate.

11. Giving clear and understandableinstructions to contractors to avoid false actions anderrors.

12. Maintain daily logs and completeinspection records with photographs, site layouts, specifications,and construction methods.

13. Conduct finalinspection, prepare defect list and ensure all defects are repairedby contractors.

14. Consult with principalconsultant, contractors, engineers and other key members to ensurethat ongoing development and structural support are properlyintegrated into the designed structures throughout the project lifecycle
