    Job Details

    • Assist attorneys in all stages of the probate process, from initial client intake to closing the estate.
    • Prepare and file probate forms, petitions, and other legal documents accurately and efficiently.
    • Manage estate administration tasks, including asset valuation, creditor notifications, and distribution of assets.
    • Conduct legal research on probate matters and assist in drafting legal correspondence and pleadings.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and third parties to ensure timely completion of probate proceedings.
    • Maintain organized case files and databases to track deadlines and document filings.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to provide comprehensive support to clients.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on probate law.
    • Proficiency in handling probate forms and navigating probate court procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
    • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
    • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
