- Ensures all recruitment policies,processes and templates are adhered to and recommends improvementsbased on business need and bestpractices.
- Conducts research and implementssourcing strategies to develop a pipeline of candidates for keyroles and positions anticipated based on businessrequirements.
- Maintains relationships withuniversities and participates in university career fairs– Assistant recruitment Manager
- Stayscurrent on trends in recruitment, use of alternative sourcingchannels and innovative methods of recruitment andselection
- Identifies manpower requirements,verifies manpower requisitions, reviews submitted job descriptionsand selects the most appropriate channel of recruitment to sourcecandidates
- Prepares and posts recruitmentadvertisements on internal and external job portals and coordinatesexternally with recruitment agencies to ensure all appropriaterecruitment channels are activated for a particular openposition
- Interacts with managers to discussrecruitment requests and to understand other contextual andqualitative information of the job
- Sourcescandidates, conducts interviews and coordinates with Business Unitsto set up interviews with line managers for shortlistedcandidates
- Obtain pre approvals for employmentoffers and employment contracts (for junior and mid-levelpositions) in line with GMG guidelines and compensationpolicies
- Conducts reference checks forcandidates and collects required documents for visa processing andemployee information filing
- Manages applicanttracking systems and updates recruitment related reports andassists in analysis to ensure that regular updates and recruitmentstatus is provided tomanagement.
