we are looking for an experienced carpentry Forman in Umm Al Quwain. this carpentry specilzed in interiors fit out and furniture making.Carpenter Foreman
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a crew of carpenters during Joinery projects
- Oversee factory joinery work
- Assign finish carpentry tasks to workers
- Complete finish carpentry tasks as needed
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as hanging drywall or painting
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare cutting list.
- Produce items as per approved shop drawings / cultist / Materials meeting daily target.
- Proper usage of tools and equipment.
- Follow manager instructions.
- Identify problems and communicate to manager
- Tools and machinery operating experience
- Basic carpentry work, Fire door assembly, veneer book matching/stitching knowledge, ceiling/wall flooring, paneling work etc.
- Knowledge about ironmongeries fixing.
- Vanity/kitchen and wardrobe assembly.
- Proper material storage and monitoring.
- Proper tools and equipment usage.
- Rectify QA/QC comments.
- Material identification & traceability marking.
- Follow QHSE procedure to avoid accidents.
- Supervising construction workers: Supervising and directing construction workers to ensure that work is carried out safely, on time.
- Scheduling and coordinating work: Scheduling and coordinating work activities, including ordering materials, arranging deliveries, and ensuring that work is carried out in the correct sequence.
- Overseeing quality control: Ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard and meets client expectations, and addressing any quality issues that arise.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations: Ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Providing progress reports: Providing regular progress reports to project managers including updates on work completed, work in progress, and any issues that arise.
- Managing budgets: Managing project budgets and ensuring that work is carried out within budget constraints.
- Maintaining records: Keeping detailed records of work completed, materials used, and any issues that arise
- A high school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Joinery and carpentry experience
- Physical stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational and time management skills
Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
Expected Start Date: 25/08/2023
