Description

Gastroenterologists should demonstrate good interpersonal skills as they will be required to attend to patient needs and consult with other consultants.


DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITES:


  • Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns.
  • Performing specialized tests to diagnose patients.
  • Determining proper courses of treatment.
  • Consulting with a patient's primary doctor.
  • Analyzing patient historical data.
  • Consulting with other specialists, such as oncologists, in the case of cancer.
  • Performing endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs.
  • Performing X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.
  • Performing surgery in the digestive tract.

WORKING CONDITION:

Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
Working Days: 6 Days / Week

  • Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning AND Afternoon
  • Contract Period 1 Year Renewable
  • On Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Primary Medical Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD); Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS); Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Equivalent from recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.

Training/Residency: completion of residency training in
Internal Medicine:

Fellowship:Gastroenterology

Clinic Experience:Recent 3 years' experience as Consultant level

Qualifications:Asian and Middle Eastern Qualifications are accepted

License: DHA Licensed or DHA Eligibility Letter as Specialist or Consultant is a Must


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Languages: English is a must
  • Age not to exceed 55 years old
  • Joining Date: Able to Join within 2 Months

  • Gross Monthly Salary
    :60, ,000 AED (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
