The Department of Information Systems andSecurity, College of Information Technology (CIT), United ArabEmirates University (UAEU) invites highly qualified individuals toapply for a faculty position in Information Security.

The CIT seekscandidates who can contribute to its growing undergraduate andgraduate programs in information security, through excellence inteaching and research.

Candidates with interdisciplinary researchin areas related to information security are strongly encouraged toapply.

Candidates are expected to teach both undergraduate andgraduate courses in areas related to Information Security and theyare also expected to advise students at the undergraduate andgraduate levels.

Demonstrable research capability that will enablethe candidate to develop and sustain an internally and/orexternally funded research program in his/her area of expertise,publish his/her research findings in refereed journals/conferences,and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAEU is a must.

Candidates must hold a Ph.
D.

in Information Security or a closelyrelated field with a demonstrated record of researchaccomplishments and experience in writing and securing researchgrants.

Innovative teaching skills with experience in blendedlearning and teaching methodologies are highly desired. Facultyrank is commensurate with qualifications and experience withpreferences given to Assistant Professors. The College hasundergraduate programs in information technology, computer science,information security and computer engineering. The college is alsohome to a number of graduate programs including an MSc and a information security.
