    We are offering you the opportunity to become DSV Dubai's new Project Specialistin Operations This role involves ensuring seamless project implementation, monitoring progress, and collaborating with different teams to achieve operational objectives efficiently. .     Reporting Line:

    Report to: Project Manager

    Role: Individual contributor

    Direct subordinates : None

    Detailed Responsibilities:

    • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage projects within the operations domain, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
    • Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive operational plans and strategies, overseeing their successful execution in accordance with project requirements.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure synchronized efforts and smooth project progression.
    • Working closely on pricing and solutions to meet the customer requirements within the scope of the given projects.
    • Collecting and consolidating all required information and documentation, from internal and external stakeholders, to ensure submission of complete tenders to the clients.
    • Review and prepares all reports and bid packages as defined in the SOP to ensure satisfactory submission.
    • Monitors bid support budgets and report any potential overrun and/or misalignment to the management.
    • Attend internal and external meetings as and when required and prepare MOMs and presentations to support the Projects Development.
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to ensure closeout of any outstanding tasks, assigned to the department.
    • Assist and attend to customer demands and requirements through verbal and written correspondence.
    • Analyze and Identify lanes, market information, segmentations, and opportunities to develop as well as sharing the output with the management.
    • Answer internal and external customer enquiries on product availability, prices, delivery times, and the status of orders so that enquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
    • Use databases or other computerized systems to maintain current customer records; track the status of orders and deliveries; and generate reports and statistics for Monthly/Quarterly reviews
    • Be able to acknowledge and understand company capabilities and identify improvement areas where needed.
    • Ensure accurate invoicing is done on a timely and Invoices are submitted to the customer with relevant backups.
    • Job Completion, Milestone update and accurate cost/WIP accruals.
    • Achieve KPI's set by management.
    • DSV supply Code of Conduct is adhered to.
    • Other tasks assigned by management

    Communication:

    Internal
    – Commercial Team (RDM, Inside Sales, Tender Management & Strategic Business Development, Product Management, Finance and Operations Team).

    External – Customers/Clients, subcontractor/suppliers

    Qualifications & Characteristics:

    • Bachelor's in commerce, administration or equivalent.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales support, sales administration, order processing , in a multi-national Project logistics forwarder or similar. MENA region experience is preferable.
    • Industry Expertise in Oil & Gas, Energy, EPCs, in the MENA regions.
    • Excellent Office skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Fluent in English – writing and speaking.
