Description

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Select and prepare materials, such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, for fabrication and welding.
• Set up welding equipment and machinery according to project specifications.
• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join metal components or structures.
• Conduct weld inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with welding codes and standards.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as grinders, cutters, and clamps, to shape, cut, and assemble metal parts.
• Perform accurate measurements and calculations to determine proper dimensions and alignment of components.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers, fabricators, and project managers, to discuss project requirements and provide input on design and feasibility.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment to ensure proper functionality.

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator or similar role.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties, as well as appropriate welding techniques for each.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, grinders, and cutters.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to welding and fabrication.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
