About our client
Our client is a major family-owned conglomerate which has a sizeable investment arm.

Various arms of the company invest in a range of strategic directions - this role will drive life sciences investing within the venture capital team.

The individual will work part time, and may remain in the US or Europe.

What the job involves

Drive new life sciences investment opportunities through strong industry relationships and commercial acumen
Manage a team of associates with a view to acquiring life sciences businesses
Present to the Investment Committee and to the Executive Board
Lead the process of investment and divestment and play a lead role in strategic decision making

Who we are looking for

Significant investing experience within venture capital in the field of biotech and pharma
Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline preferred
An MBA from a globally recognised business school preferred
Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English; Arabic is considered added value
Influencing skills at the most senior level
A strong network in the US and/or Europe
Excellent team management and influencing skills
