    Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Officer

    Job Description

    The Registration Authority's Monitoring & Enforcement Division is accountable for ensuring compliance with and enforcing ADGM's commercial legislation. This includes regulations and rules governing the incorporation, registration, commercial licensing and operation of firms in the ADGM.

    M&E is also responsible for supervising ADGM registered auditors and insolvency practitioners.

    The Enforcement Section within M&E is responsible for carrying out enforcement activities by assessing and investigating suspected contraventions of ADGM commercial legislation. Where appropriate, Enforcement will recommend and support the implementation of disciplinary actions and sanctions to denounce these contraventions, deter future misconduct and protect ADGM's reputation.

    The Manager, Enforcement supports M&E by managing and carrying out duties that contribute to the RA's regulatory objectives.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for leading investigative interviews and drafting document requests to ensure all necessary information is gathered to support fair and objective decision making.

    They will work closely with the Monitoring Section and other RA Divisions to ensure timely completion of investigations and reports.

    The position requires a strong analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

    A bachelor's degree in law, finance or business is required, along with 6 years' experience in law enforcement, forensic accounting, compliance or financial regulation.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in law, finance or business

    Work Experience:

    • 6 years' experience in law enforcement, forensic accounting, compliance or financial regulation
    • Strong analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
