  • JOB PURPOSE
Liaise with customers and finance team to ensure timely collection of payments to resolve items of reconciliation.

Follow up the receivables outstanding, conduct customer visits for due collection, prepare manual receipts; deliver invoices and statements to customers.

Report the collection details to the line manager and business unit manager.


  • ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Accountabilities (Up To Max. 6)

  • Receivables & Payments: Follow up with customers and receive payments to ensure correct posting to the customer accounts. Collect cheques from the banks against bank issued Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) to clear outstanding payments.
  • Debt Collection: Monitor customer billing and ensure timely collection to avoid debt ageing. Provide customer debt age report to the line manager.
  • Communication: Deliver statements and invoices to customers on a periodic/monthly basis; obtain acknowledgements for the delivered documents to provide information on outstanding balances to customer.
  • Relationship Management: Assist customers in outstanding repayment to maintain strong customer's relationship.
Job Specific Information

  • Credit Collector will work in close interaction with business unit managers, bank representatives and external customers to create balance between maintaining customer relationships and minimize organizational cashflow risk by constantly followup with customers on payments.

Qualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
  • UAE Driving Licence.
Experience
years of minimum experience in billing and collections.
