Weprovide high quality Subsurface Utility Engineering (S.U.E.) datatailored to our clients needs using a combination of surveymapping, ground penetrating radar, electromagnetic sensors andexcavationtechnologies.
Weare currently seeking aSUE/Utility Locate Technician/CrewLeader to join our growing Tampateam who is self-motivated to accurately mark utilities includingwater, reclaimed water, force main, gas, electric, communications,etc. using electromagnetic pipe and cable locators, groundpenetrating radar, vacuum excavation, probe rods and otheracceptablemeans.
QualificationsandResponsibilities:
2 years utility locatingexperience
Able to complete locates safely,accurately and ontime
Able and willing to work outside invarious weatherconditions
Able to read and understand utilityprints
Able to drive and operate vacuumexcavation truck(Non-CDL)
Excellent communicationskills
Strong computerskills
Able to work overtime and someweekends
Valid driver slicense

Responsibility for the assigned vehicle and all of the equipmentthat is checked out to the crew. Responsibility for schedulingroutine maintenance on the vehicle and reporting any mechanicalproblems to the Mechanic in a timely manner. Responsibility forreporting any problems with the survey equipment. Responsibilityfor acquiring the work assignments for the day and all informationnecessary to complete the work. Responsibility for survey notekeeping. Responsibility for each member of the crew, includingoverseeing job performance, conduct, work habits, and providingtraining. Responsibility for the safety crew, including properattire, ensuring that safety cones, signs, and vests are used whennecessary. Responsibility for accurately recording and turning inthe daily time sheet for the crew. Responsibility for recommendingcrew members for promotions, disciplinary action, and/ordismissal.
