Description
Check and ensure that all field activitiesare conducted in accordance with health and safety policy,regulations, standards and procedures, and enhance all preventiveand corrective actions as appropriate.
Check the suitability and application ofthe site health and safety plan and all relevant procedures, andprepare any amendments.
Updating health and safetydocumentation during all stages of construction whererequired.
Verify that subcontractors carry out theiractivities in accordance with all health and safety procedures,regulations and standards, and promote all necessary procedures toensure compliance with said procedures andregulations.
Organize, plan and directly participate inperiodic health and safety inspections and rounds of site audits,prepare all relevant reports, action plans, and verify follow-upprompt implementation of corrective actions.
Organize,coordinate and participate directly in health and safety trainingactivities on site.Organize and participate in allrelevant health and safety meetings on site, and prepare relevantmeeting minutes.
Collaborate with the client regardingthe issuance of any necessary work permits.
Organizing afull investigation of incidents if they occur, with the aim ofidentifying corrective measures to avoid theirrecurrence.
Maintain records of incidents, identifyingareas that need to be addressed for prevention.
Performand/or enhance personal education/training.
Lead andcoordinate the work of the on-site HSE Committee (composed of HSErepresentatives of contractors and sub-contractors).
Leadand coordinate the on-site emergency response team and firefightingteam, and organize model emergency training andexercises.
Preparation of HSE department monthlyconstruction progress report and other periodicreports.
Prepare and update health and safety statisticson site, and verify performance against health and safetyperformance goals and indicators for the project andcompany.
Propose a recovery plan in case ofmismatch.
