Shopper Marketing Manager
This position reports into Shopper Marketing Manager Skin Health and is based at Dubai, UAE.

What will you do


The shopper marketing manager will also be responsible for category management partnership, promotion design and execution through distributor partners to differentiate J&J as "added value partners".

Key Responsibilities***
Category:
  • Conduct assessment & develop plans generating assortment & ranging recommendations for key priority customer in region.
  • Analysis of category data.
  • Prepare & present Category reviews with our regional customers in collaboration with the Regional and country customer development teams.

Customers:


  • To work in partnership with key customers using J&J way tools e.g. Ladder of commitment.
  • Project management of customer category initiatives through to execution.
  • To clearly define a role and way of working using a clear contact strategy collaboratively with the J&J Customer Development team with lead customers

In-store / shopper-facing:


  • In conjunction with the EMEA Shopper team & local marketing, develop regional DB5e guidelines and measurement on execution ensuring J&J share of self.
  • Develop Ranging & Merchandising service for key customer and categories within budget.
  • Write and deliver instore guidelines
  • Drive & deliver instore POP Innovation projects with nominated customers
  • Deliver brand key account and national promotions plan and measurement
  • Deliver new shopper insightbased actions that deliver against customer and J&J brand growth objectives.

Category Insight:


  • Deliver Shopper Research initiatives inline with the plan & budget both via customer projects and by collaboration with regional, EMEA and global shopper functions
  • Deliver instore research, e.g. store staff & Shopper closeness research

Brand:


  • Input Category & instore thinking into major NPI launch plans around the POP drivers, e.g. Ranging, Display, Instore shopper communication.
  • To support the team in relevant regional Brand Activation Meetings when big NPI/Initiatives.
  • Set In-Store Excellence framework for Brand Initiatives for nominated categories and customers.
  • Measure promotional performance and support the marketing team to deliver instore activation that delivers optimal return on investment.
Qualifications


What we are looking for
Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration or respective studies, MBA degree a plus.
  • 67+ years of proven experience in Trade Marketing experience in a multinational organization.
  • Selfcare and Dermo Cosmetics experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong overall business & marketing management experience.
  • Exceptional financial & commercial acumen proven ability to connect inmarket dynamics with financial implications and make decisions to drive business results.
  • Strong analytical capability leading to datadriven decisions.
  • Proven track record in developing integrated marketing campaigns resulting in driving category & brand consumption.
  • Highly experienced in launching new products and commercial innovation with excellence.
  • Ability to master complexity.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, make the complex simple and communicate very clearly.
  • Dedicated and results driven brings new ideas to the table & holds others accountable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead through influence.
  • Working in multifunctional crosscultural teams.
  • Must be able to travel across the Middle East Region.
  • Excellent Verbal and written English skills; Arabic is a plus.
