Description

• Good all - round knowledge ofPiping design with Brownfield offshore experience and Smart Plant3D modelling and reviewing software
• Executedesign and draughting activities (Concept, Front End EngineeringDevelopment, Technical Study and DetailedDesign)
• Prepare sketches, Piping drawings anddesigns from agreed work scopes with minimum input from engineeringpersonnel
• Achieve safety standards as definedin personal performance contract
• Responsiblefor assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with aview to continuously improving systems, personal and teamperformance
• Carry out sitesurveys
• Ensure, as far as is practicallypossible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance withthe agreed budget and schedule
• Maintainrequired technical quality of work
• Keep up todate with technical developments, national and internationalstandards and legislative requirements related to discipline workscope
• Maintain filingsystem
• Encourage and provide lateral learningwithin project
• Provide technical assistance todiscipline assigned personnel asrequired
• Assist Lead / Senior Engineer andothers when requested in the execution of their responsibilitiesand duties
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineeringwith minimum of 15+ years ofexperience
• Offshore experience ismandatory
• Sound knowledge of manual and CADdraughting techniques
• Software skills likeAUTOCAD, MICROSTATION, etc is mandatory
• 3DSoftware skills like SP3D is mandatory
• Aware ofand able to use codes of practice, standards, and relevant sectionsof statutory documentation as applicable to draughtingfunction
• Aware of and able to use COMPANY andCLIENT standards
• Able to create base designdrawings / models from agreed work scope with minimalguidance
• Computer literate (database /spreadsheets)
• Ability to accept delegatedresponsibility for designatedtasks
