    A global payments FinTech company is seeking an Acquiring Processing Pre-Sales Manager to join their dynamic

    The role will be based on-site in their Johannesburg offices and will fall under the

    Group Processing:
    Product and Design Platform A bit about the role:Working closely with the regions sales, country, and relationship managers, the Acquiring Processing Pre-Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the sales of Acquiring Processing Solutions and Products across Southern Africa and Portuguese-speaking

    The role is client-facing, relying on product and technical knowledge to provide solution-oriented advice that will ultimately lead to a sale and the establishment of a processing Key to success in this role will also be establishing a working relationship with the greater group of companies to ensure alignment of solutions and strategy is achieved in the acquirer processing

    Furthermore, the role will also be critical in providing expertise to cross-sell and upsell products to existing

    The right candidate will ensure that the company provides the right solutions to its clients by working to understand and validate client needs while leveraging the company

    Providing subject matter expertise to support sales efforts but also to support clients as they grow and develop their Acquiring BusinessBeing the voice of the customer to drive the development of the Acquiring-Processing Product set, including the continual evolution of the customer proposition and development of the Go-To-Market plans, including filtering trends, pains, and growing demand back into Network Product teams and salesWorking in partnership with the N-Advisors function to build out the Acquiring-Processing offer and lead the roll-out of the proposition to the marketplaceLeading the efforts for responding to RFIs, RFPs & tenders in collaboration with internal teams and bid management by providing domain knowledge to ensure the packaging of relevant solutionsBeing accountable for ensuring the broader sales and relationship function is appropriately trained and skilled in the fundamentals of Acquiring Processing to help identify opportunities and an initial qualification exercise with clients/prospects (training package to be developed in partnership with Product)Identifying and progressing partnerships that fill gaps in the value proposition

    will be delivered in partnership with the Product functionUsing strong presentation and communication skills to inform prospective clients about the company

    s solutions and how they could leverage them to solve their customer challengesGathering and analysing requirements to tailor solutions that address customer needs and concerns in the best wayUnderstanding solutions within their specific domain and the ability to apply solutions to meet and address unique client needsConsistently reviewing and understanding local regulatory changes that affect payments processing and the company, including scheme mandates, , VISA & MC across the groupLeading knowledge-sharing sessions and training for the regional sales teams to ensure they are kept abreast of new and evolved solutions and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling existing and new company solutionsAbility to build a business case and capture the key elements that will help assess viability and deal with profitabilityCollaborating with Product & Vendor Management by checking market trends to identify gaps, opportunities, and vendors that could complement the company

    s propositionsWhat it takes to succeed:Minimum of a bachelor

    s degree in a relevant subject6-9 years of experience in the Acquiring sector in the payments industry, either directly or through the provision of services to AcquirersProven account/sales management experienceCards System & Product Knowledge that is relevant to the Acquiring industryStrong cultural awareness and knowledge of working across multiple geographiesA self-starter who seeks out accountability and demonstrates drive to exceed targets

    s propositions What it takes to succeed:
    Minimum of a bachelor

    6-9 years of experience in the Acquiring sector in the payments industry, either directly or through the provision of services to Acquirers

    Proven account/sales management experience

    Cards System & Product Knowledge that is relevant to the Acquiring industry

    Strong cultural awareness and knowledge of working across multiple geographies
