Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud.
• Architecting and implementing systems to provide reliable and scalable services using the Linux operating system.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex multi-system issues in a production environment.
• Provide technical leadership in design and administration of geo-diverse, highly available systems and platforms, as well as implementing operational best practices.
• Plan, facilitate, and participate in systems and platform upgrades, service, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Document the operations of system processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Instrument, analyze, and publish systems and platform capacity, performance, and availability metrics.

Minimum Experience & Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile principles and associated practices
• 5+ years' experience in DevOps role.
• Strong skills in source code management with Git.
• Strong skills in Linux administration
• Strong experience architecting, securing, optimizing, and scaling, infrastructure solutions for large applications, in private could (on-premises) and public cloud (AWS).
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services like ECS, EC2, VPC, S3, Route 53, RDS, CloudFront.
• Experience and strong exposure to other cloud environments such as GCP and Azure.
• Strong experience setting up web and mobile applications infrastructure and CICD for all environments (dev, test, staging and production), using open source or on-premises tools.
• Experience configuring and optimizing server side open-source tools to build, authenticate users, optimize, secure and scale distributed micro-services such as: Redis, KeyCloak, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ,
• Strong experience with containerized deployment using docker and open-source tools such Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Chef,
• Experience configuring and optimizing big data open-source and on-prem tools such as: Redshift, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Cassandra
• Strong experience setting up, optimizing, monitoring, administrating, and scaling open-source NoSQL & SQL databases such as: MongoDb, CouchDB, PostGre, Mysql.
• Strong experience installing, monitoring infrastructure & applications logs, setting up alerts & notification, using open-source tools such as: Grafana, Prometheus,
