  • Our client an Oil & Gas operations giant are looking to add a Company Representative to their offices working from their offices in Dubai.
  • Role will be contract based and will offer an initial 12 months contract which is renewable. It will be to work on a Monday
  • Friday basis.
    Roles and responsibilities
  • To act as authorised representative for and on behalf of client Project and Mods team in relation to Intervention Blue skies Flare rationalisation, PWD handling and Base modification scope EPC based in Contractor's office.
  • To drive efficient and effective partnership between company and the EPC Contractor.
  • Reporting to the Senior Project Manager M&E Project and modifications, the position will be based in Contractor's office in UAE with expectation to visit site in Iraq as required.
  • Leading the transition from preFEED through to detailed engineering and then continues into the followon phases (construction, commissioning, startup) of the project.
  • Ensure Contractor has mobilized right resources in timely manner inline with the contract T&C.
  • Monitor, drive and control contractor's progress and minimize Contractor's hurdles during contract execution.
  • Drive contractor using bid package and contract T&Cs.
  • Effectively respond to all contractor letters, queries, requests, issuances etc etc in timely manner to minimize risk of Schedule delays or rework
  • Manage interfaces between Contractor, client Project teams, CET Engineers and Stakeholders to ensure efficient review cycle and deliverables.
  • Ensure monitoring and reporting is inline with agreement.
  • Cross discipline and crossStakeholder integration of project requirements to help ensure robust and constructible design.
  • Assurance, oversight and performance management of the EPC Contractor.
  • Provide support to the EPC contractor in their delivery of key Projects FEED study and associated deliverables. This includes guidance on client standards and requirements.
  • Support the effective delivery of the various assurance reviews required per Contract, including model reviews, Multidiscipline Engagements and HAZOP.
  • Helps ensure that design philosophies are applied consistently with safe, reliable and efficient operations in mind.
  • Advises the Project Manager on key delivery and technical, risk and integrity issues. Manages risks.
  • In line with Contract, in case a variation is required, The Company instructs and manages this through the Company Representative or his delegate
