The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience.

Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience.

Overview

Responsible for developing datadriven innovative analytical solutions and identifying opportunities to support business and client needs in a quantitative manner and facilitate informed recommendations / decisions
Activities include developing and creating predictive models, behavioral segmentation frameworks, profitability analyses, ad hoc reporting and data visualizations

Responsibilities:

Aggregates and collates client data sets and conducts data manipulation and technical analysis leveraging industry techniques and best practices to identify trends and draw insights
Cleans and structures data sets fed to downstream analytics
Assists with the development and validation of dashboards and reports for client/ stakeholder projects
Escalates technical errors or bugs detected in project work
Assists with ad hoc work as delegated by senior level colleagues

Experiences

Demonstrated basic knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, coding, and data engineering
Experience leveraging open source tools, predictive analytics, machine learning, and other data techniques to perform basic analyses
Experience developing and configuring dashboards
Demonstrated judgement when escalating issues to the project team

What you'll need for Launch

To be available to start the program on 2nd September 2024.

To be a Final Year Masters/Undergraduate Student or to graduate no earlier than December 2023 and no later than August 31st 2024.

Bachelor's degree in Business/Management/Computer Science or Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Business Informatics/MIS with a minimum predicted classification of a UK 2.1 or equivalent GPA of 3.0.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with analytical and problem-solving capability and a strong strategic & conceptual aptitude, whilst being customer centric.

Passionate to learn and seek knowledge about Business Analysis/ Payments/ Software Development Life Cycle/ Agile and Scrum.

English Language skills to a professional standard.

Arabic Language skills to a professional standard.
