Responsibilities:

• Interpreting the clientsbusiness needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
• Estimating the time required to complete thework and providing quotes for clients;
• Developing design briefs by gathering information anddata through research;
• Thinking creatively toproduce new ideas and concepts;
• Usinginnovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints ofcost and time;
• Presenting finalized ideas andconcepts to clients or account managers;
• Working with a wide range of media including photographyand computeraided design (CAD);
• Proofreadingto produce accurate and highquality work;
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overallbrief;
• Demonstrating illustrative skills withrough sketches;
• Working on layouts andartworking pages ready for print;
• Keepingabreast of emerging technologies in new media particularly designprograms such as QuarkXPress FreeHand Illustrator Photoshop 3ds MaxAcrobat Director Dreamweaver and Flash;
• Developing interactive design;
• Commissioning illustrators and photographers;
• Working as part of a team with printers copywritersphotographers stylists illustrators other designers accountexecutives web developers and marketing specialists.

Key skills & Experiencerequired:

• Minimum 3 yearsof experience as a Graphic Designer in anyMarketing/Advertising/Branding consultancy environment
• Excellent IT skills
• Exceptionalcreative flair and design
• Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
• Accuracyand attention to detail
• An understanding ofthe latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
• Proven competence in design and imageprocessing software
• Professional approach totime costs and deadlines.
