Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to adjust strategies accordingly.
Business Growth Strategy:
- Develop and implement growth strategies with the goal of driving revenue and increasing market share.
- Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate the value proposition of products or services.
Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
Partnership Development:
- Seek out and establish partnerships with other companies and organizations that can lead to new business opportunities.
- Manage existing partnerships to ensure they are beneficial and satisfying for both parties.
Project Management and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that client needs are met, projects are delivered on time, and that quality standards are met.
- Oversee the development of proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare reports on progress, goals, and forecasts for business development and present to senior management.
- Analyze sales and other reports that give insight into how a company can make adjustments to improve performance.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and activities in terms of ROI and success in the market.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA can be an added advantage.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and cultivate professional relationships.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
- Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis.
