The Compliance Analyst will be part of the compliance operations.

He/she will be in charge of:

Complete the AML and CDD checks on the new clients, perform sanctions, AML and CTF screening, verify the authenticity of client documents and complete the compliance review.
Review and disposition of Sanctions screening alerts through effective investigation and adherence to policies, standards and procedures. Highlight concerns, trends, and patterns to the head of Compliance.
Coordinate with the other teams in relation to resolution of alerts and client information.
Handle Sanctions referrals as per the company's policy, ensuring no breach of the applicable sanctions policies, standards and guidance.
Test and confirm that automated overnight screening is enabled.
Support the implementation of controls, compliance checks and compliance processes.
Provide effective support and maintain metrics as per internal procedures; prepare monthly and ad hoc management reports.
Identify and escalate areas requiring attention or strengthening and recommend changes and improvements in line with industry standards and applicable regulations.
Assist in other Compliance projects as and when required including effective deployment of system and procedural changes as required

YOUR PROFILE

At least 3 years' experience in a compliance role with a focus on sanction screening, or financial crime investigation
Compliance risk experience including relevant sanctions experience
Proficiency in using sanctions screening software and tools. Comfortable with data analysis and reporting tools
Knowledge of sanction regimes and AML principles
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in conducting screenings and investigations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Effective team player with ability to work collaboratively
Professional qualification (like ACAMS, CGSS) is a plus.
