Establish the Area Turnover schedules in coordination with the Prime Contractor; lead the development, maintenance and implementation of the Area Turnover processes and procedures. Manage the area walk-downs schedules and conduct walk downs with Korean Electric Power Company (KEPCO) and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) in order to meet the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) milestones.**- Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Area Turnover Implementation

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development, review and maintenance of area turnover processes and procedures to ensure the final integrity of the Plant
  • Develop area turnover implementation plan, status reports and experience reports to ensure the efficiency of the area turnover process
  • Liaise with all concerned stakeholders, including but not limited to impacted departments within Nawah, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and the Prime Contractor and schedule meetings for area turnover activities such as pre walkdowns, final walkdowns and additional walkdowns to ensure compliance with system turnover procedures
  • Develop and control area turnover scope and turnover schedule for each package with Prime Contractor to ensure that milestones regarding fuel onsite and fuel load are reached
  • Control and review pending items status such as punch, exception and Un-Resolved Issue items and assist Prime Contractor in their resolution
  • Control and review the area turnover packages and ensure documents are uploaded in Nuclear Power Plant Construction Management System (NPCMS).
  • Manage interface between impacted departments within Nawah, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and the Prime Contractor.

Staff Training and Qualification

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Set management expectations and communicate with staff to ensure high level of safety and reliability is sustained.
  • Monitor and coach staff to improve performance.
  • Evaluate performance of individual staff to develop necessary training.
  • Ensure training programs provide necessary technical knowledge and skills.
  • Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance.

Activity:
Operational Planning

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide input into the development of the Department's systems and processes, as well develop, and implement the Section's procedures, identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Section, to track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions.
  • Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, to meet the Section's requirements and standards

Health and Safety, Security and Business Continuity

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the Section by the delivery of the Health and Safety Management Program to guarantee
