    Description
    • Patient Evaluation andDiagnosis:
    • Conduct thorough assessments ofpatients' skin conditions, including physical examinationsand medical history reviews.
    • Order andinterpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies, allergy tests,and skin cultures, to confirmdiagnoses.
    • Formulate differential diagnoses anddevelop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findingsand diagnostic results.
    • Medical Treatment andManagement:
    • Prescribe medications, topicaltreatments, and oral therapies to manage dermatological conditions,such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skininfections.
    • Monitor patients' responsesto treatment and adjust therapy as necessary to achieve optimaloutcomes.
    • Provide counseling on medication use,potential side effects, and adherence to treatmentregimens.
    • ProceduralSkills:
    • Perform dermatological procedures,including skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, electrosurgery,and laser therapy.
    • Administer injectabletreatments, such as botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers,for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes.
    • Conductminor surgical procedures, such as mole removals and skin cancerexcisions, using aseptic techniques and appropriateanesthesia.
    • CosmeticDermatology:
    • Offer cosmetic dermatologyservices, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laserresurfacing, and hair removaltreatments.
    • Evaluate patients'aesthetic concerns and develop personalized treatment plans toaddress wrinkles, pigmentation issues, and other cosmeticconcerns.
    • Provide pre-operative andpost-operative care for patients undergoing cosmetic procedures toensure optimal outcomes and patientsatisfaction.
    • Patient Education andCounseling:
    • Educate patients about theirdermatological conditions, including causes, triggers, andtreatment options.
    • Offer guidance on skincarepractices, sun protection measures, and lifestyle modifications topromote skin health and prevent futureproblems.
    • Address patients' questionsand concerns in a compassionate and supportive manner, fosteringopen communication and trust.
    • Collaboration andReferral:
    • Collaborate with other healthcareprofessionals, such as primary care physicians, oncologists, andplastic surgeons, to coordinate comprehensive care for patientswith complex dermatological conditions.
    • Referpatients to specialists for further evaluation or treatment ofconditions beyond the scope of dermatology, such as autoimmunedisorders or systemic diseases affecting theskin.
