Description

• Perform sandblasting operations to remove rust, paint, and other surface contaminants from heavy equipment.
• Select and mix appropriate paints and coatings according to specifications.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and touch up as needed.
• Maintain sandblasting and painting equipment in good working condition, performing regular maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Assist with other workshop duties as required.

• Proven experience as a Sandblaster and Painter, preferably in a heavy equipment or automotive setting.
• Proficiency in sandblasting techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to sandblasting and painting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification is a plus.
