We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Scan and process items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
  • Accept cash, credit card, and other forms of payment from customers.
  • Calculate and provide accurate change to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
  • Follow cash handling procedures and maintain cash register balances.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding customer service and safety.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
