Job DescriptionRoles& Responsibilities
TheRole:
The Shipping Coordinator isresponsible for coordinating shipments of stock, working with brandteams, internal cross functional teams and shipping suppliers toefficiently move stock to the desired locations in line with brandrequirements.
Specifically, youwill:
Manage the shipping administrationprocess, including the up keep of accurate records, consolidationof reports, and cataloguing of all shippingdata.
Prepare weekly reports on the status ofincoming shipments.
Check costs from freightforwarders and clearing agents against approvedrates.
Continuously track shipment progress andcommunicate delays, working closely with the Shipping Supervisor toaddress any shipment issues.
Advisemerchandisers and distribution centers of incomingshipments.

Qualifications &Requirements:
You willhave/be:
Experience working in a coordinationor administration role - preferably within shipping, logistics orsupply chain departments.
High school/secondaryschool certificate.
PC Literate, with a goodworking knowledge of Office tools.
