Job Title:
Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business and increasing sales revenue for the company's IT products and services, including managed services.
They will develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, identify and pursue new sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed company revenue targets for IT products and services, including managed services
- Identify new business opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends and customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of IT products and services to customers, including managed services
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing to customers for IT products and services, including managed services
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with customers for IT products and services, including managed services
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management
- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets for IT products and services, including managed services
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including sales policies and ethical standards
- Accountable for accurate and ontime reporting essential for the effectiveness sales organization.
- Flexibility to respond to business conditions as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT sales, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and current market trends, including managed services
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business for IT products and services, including managed services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel as needed
