Position Title:
Field Engineering (FE) (must have vehicle Diagnostics & Reporting Experience)


Position Grade:
Section Manager (EVP-7)


Reports to:
Manager FE

JOB PURPOSE:

Identify key market concerns and support countermeasure activities by clarifying the concern with necessary data

Description

Study Technical Reports raised by NSCs and prioritize key concerns for further investigations.
Regular GEMBA visits to NSC to investigate the concerns and collect necessary technical data from vehicles
Coordinate with technical service advisor to clarify market information and collect additional data as necessary
Issue Technical report to FQI/FQA and follow up for countermeasure
Technical report issuance for priority list; 3MIS, durability, A&B rank items etc. as necessary
Educate NSC TSA for concern grading in line with Nissan standards
Support NSC for product quality issues reporting and feedback.


Operating environment:

Customer's expectation on Product quality is very demanding & hence the product quality improvement activity needs priority. This position may require regular field visit to get a better insight on the VOC.

Speed and quality of data is very important since countermeasure action delay may impact Customer Satisfaction and the cost financially.

Also to manage NSC / Dealer expectations for countermeasure progress.


Communication & working relationship:

FQI/FQA - To have close communication to align on market priorities, TR and countermeasure follow-up

NSC's /TSA/ Technical manager - for VOC clarification and data collection

Customers - For special investigations and VOC collection

Warranty - for parts replacement and pre-authorization

Other NMEF Internal departments - to exchange information


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Educational background, qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering


Experience, other skills:

For 7 to 10 years' experience in Automobile industry technical/quality function.

At least 3 years' experience in field and technical investigation activities.


Computer skills / languages:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) & English Proficiency (High), Arabic (optional)
