Rides Engineer is responsible To ensure asmooth and efficient operation of the Farah Experiences LeisureFacilities in the Technical Services Rides Department in relationto the Company Core Process; thus directly impacting on themaintenance of rides, facilities and attractions.

Thisposition applies a working knowledge of engineering fundamentals tothe division's engineering activities under the directionof Rides Management team, required to interact with other personnelto provide project-related engineering support including those inQA, Installation, and Procurement.

It involves the design,production support, integration, testing, troubleshooting, andcommissioning of ride systems

JobScope:
Maintain, erect, repair and troubleshoot varioustheme park rides and attractions as directed. Execute efficientpreventive maintenance program and identify the causes ofmalfunctions.

Perform visual inspections of assigned rides andattractions as necessary and will be able to train junior staff forinspections as necessary.

Remove, install, repair and test allelectromechanical equipment of rides, animation and attractions.
Perform other maintenance functions and assists other colleagues asneeded by supervision.

Independently performs difficult engineeringtasks to completion that may include a variety of complex features,conflicting design requirements, unusual materials requirements,and the need to coordinate the work of others.

Provide feedback andtechnical perspective into the design during the design phasereviews.

Perform assembly, integration, factory testing, andmaintenance/repairs on equipment/systems within his or her area ofexpertise in accordance with appropriate standards and proceduresand in accordance with appropriate SafetyStandards.
