JOB SUMMARY:


In consultation with the Head WAITER or Dining Room Supervisor/Manager to ensure customer Satisfaction by establishing and maintaining a good relationship with the client, wearing both the hospitality and sales cap during operations, following UNF's policies and procedures.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Applies and follows the contractual obligations, UNF's policies and procedures
  • Attend briefings prior to restaurant opening, wellgroomed and equipped with the basic aids of
Operations such as pens.

  • Ensures a high standard of personal hygiene and adheres to standards of dress code for the position
  • Complete miseenscene and miseenplace before the restaurant opens.
  • Check all the equipment and furniture at the station for their serviceability and maintenance
Requirements.

  • Smile. As it is serve to be a starting interaction with customer.
  • Head Waiter work with the host/hostess to guide patrons to open tables, informing them
of the day's food and drink specials. They must maintain an upbeat and friendly attitude

Throughout this process.

  • Head Waiter take the orders from their tables, communicating with the kitchen and bar staff
to place food and drink orders. They also check that the wait staff place orders correctly and

Deliver them to the correct tables.

  • Head Waiter should be a skilled salesperson, ensuring that table/customer spend avg are always met, by selling the star/plowhorse items
  • The head waiter ensure all the waiters/waitress follows the sequence of service all the time.
  • The head waiter trains new wait staff on basic techniques and the specific expectations and
Procedures of their employer.

  • These include tasks such as making sure the dining area is clean, opening or closing the
Registers, cleaning windows, and preparing the specials board.

  • Manage transactions with the customers using cash registers.
  • Collect correct payments whether in cash or credit.
  • Issue receipt and correct change mentioning the amount tender being ordered and change.
  • Redeem coupons from customer if presented once it is valid.
  • Offer suggestive selling and introduce new one.
  • Thanking customer for ordering with us and invite to come back.
  • Track the transaction on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure food product and prepared the recipe and menu specifications accordingly.
  • Ensure all equipment is working and adhere to correct temperature at all times.
  • Make sure to ask and openup any questions and inquiry to Supervisor to address issue right Away.
  • Follow the target by management
  • Ensure personal grooming and the whole team on a daily basis
