Qualifications:

Diploma in Safety with Qualification from a recognized university or institute
Have at least 4 years of experience in Health and Safety and Environment

Handling Emergency

Accident / Collision/ Fire/ Leakages/Pollution, etc.
Accident investigation and report writing skills
Ensure that a copy of the Company Health and Safety Policy is visible to all.
Ensure that the Safety Plan is being implemented, monitored, and reviewed in all departs.
Ensure that statutory documents and first aid equipments are arranged for each new and existing site.
Provide Advice on training requirements and arrange training courses for all needed employees.
Carry out investigations of serious accidents in accordance with Company Policy and prepare and provide statistics.
Supply any necessary literature for use or display at sites or workplaces.
Carry out regular inspection of sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Safety Policy, Method Statement's and the relevant statutory provisions. Provide an Inspection Report to site management and send a copy of the report to the Manager.
Identifying potential hazards on new contracts before the commencement of work, proposing the safety organisation and emergency precautions required.
Compiling reports on safety and health activities including safety inspection reports.
Record and analyse of information on injuries, damage and production loss, assess accident trends and review overall safety performances.
Prepare safety and health requirements, compiling the safety manual and all related procedures.
Ensuring all United Arab Emirates Government regulations concerning safety and health are implemented in the execution of the project.
Ensuring that all safety equipment and personal protective clothing used on the project is suitable for use and complies with the approved standard.
Providing information and advising management on safety and health requirements and promoting a regular exchange of information on current safety performance record.
Maintaining the subcontractor's safety performance and advising the Project Manager on subcontractor's safety performance record.
Prepare and implement administrative plans for reports, records, statistics and special safety meetings.
Conducting joint project safety inspections with the subcontractors representatives within their areas of responsibility and assisting them in providing on the job safety training for their employees where required.
Compiling reports on safety and health activities on site.
Liaise with site management to ensure that all work is planned and conducted safely.
Liaise with local medical staff and monitor injury reporting system.
Conduct accident investigations and notification to management of all findings.
Prepare risk assessment for all activities of installation, maintenance, repair and modernization work.
Conducting safety induction for new employees of the company and periodical induction for site persons.
Provide the complete safety report every after 3 months about the site projects.
Give a note or written warning to the employee who did not follow the safety procedures and inform to management.
Must conduct the safety training for each department for one day with every 6 to 12 months.
Provide complete project lift photos.
Responsible for employee accommodation and Labor camp activities.
Responsible to carry out the duties anywhere within UAE and abroad.
