We are currently seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join the team and cater to a VVIP family.     As the Indian Chef for our VVIP family, you will be responsible for creating and serving authentic Indian dishes that showcase the rich flavors and spices of Indian cuisine. You will have the chance to craft innovative menus tailored to the client's preferences while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

    This role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and a deep understanding of Indian spices. Additionally, strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate with the VVIP family and ensure their culinary expectations are exceeded.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to the VVIP family's preferences and dietary restrictions
    • Develop and execute innovative and personalized menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine
    • Ensure all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and presentation
    • Manage and maintain inventory of ingredients and ensure proper storage and handling
    • Collaborate with other members of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
    • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Stay up-to-date with current trends in Indian cuisine and continuously refine your culinary skills

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef, preferably in high-end restaurants or luxury hotel environments
    • In-depth knowledge of North Indian cooking techniques and a passion for creating authentic Indian dishes
    • Strong understanding of Indian spices and their unique flavor profiles
    • Understanding of food allergies like Nuts, Dairy, and Gluten and the ability to create a menu based on that.
    • Must be able to make a few South Indian dishes like, Idly, Dosa, Vada, Sambhar etc
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
    • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when necessary
