Position:


As the Store Planning Project Manager, you monitor projects to execute store openings, remodeling and special projects in order to provide an active and concrete contribution to the brand's success, and to enhance the client experience.

In this role, your activity revolves around three main tasks:


DESIGN ACTIVITIES
Guidelines

Design and Conceptualization

  • Revisions of designs as per project requirement development and execution of final designs for submission
  • Drafting
  • Software/computer aided rendition of basic and allied architectural plans
  • Analysis of basic computations and reflection of these details to initial plans
  • Software/computer aided rendition of basic and complex hidden details or shop drawings

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Detail Coordination and Negotiation

  • Discusses pertinent technical details and specifications necessary for the supplier appreciation of the project scope prior to submission of quotation or costing
  • Provides hidden details not reflected on typical working drawings
  • Sources supplier and contractor pool for projects
  • Costing and Estimation
  • Ensures final review of quantity surveying of materials for project
  • Ensures final review of quantity surveying of materials as per request for comparative analysis
  • Executes and forwards detailed costs including labor, projected overhead and profit margin as comparative tool for supplier negotiation
  • Presents reviewed and finalized costing and quotations prior to Store Planning Director's approval
Research and Development

  • Sources materials appropriate for design proposal
Technical Liaisons

  • Coordinates with Store Admin/Engineering personnel related to project
  • Assists Head of Store Planning team in surveying and conducting ocular inspections of sites
Contractor Quotation Review and Cost Negotiation

  • Reviews forwarded quotation, evaluation and further negotiation based on parallel internal costing as well as that forwarded by competing bidders

Profile:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a combination of the following skills and behavior:

  • Master degree in engineering, architecture, or design, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years fixtures, merchandising layout, store design or equivalent experience.
  • Specialization in retail luxury goods/fashion construction as a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word), Photoshop, Autocad & 3D software
  • Knowledge of construction, fixture and merchandise layout practices and procedures
  • Fluent written and verbal English
