Description
Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation and production, and management and training of kitchen staff, as required by Ex Chef.
- Ensure efficient, costeffective operation and profitability of food production, avoiding unnecessary wastage.
- Cook all kind of food as requested.
- Adhere quality standards of the Kitchen and the policies of the company
- Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitised, and in perfect operating order.
- Cultivate yourself and read articles related to trendy food material and news
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner.
- Carry out the store inventories as requested.
- Assure kitchen personnel is trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room employees, and guests.
- Assume any other responsibilities as they may be assigned
