We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong experience in trading systems and the development of algorithmic, rule‑based (systematic) trading strategies. The ideal candidate combines deep technical capability with a genuine passion for quantitative research, automation, and financial markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer – Trading Systems Development will:

• Develop, test, and maintain trading systems, APIs, and integration tools.
• Design solutions for handling structured and real-time market data feeds.
• Collaborate with traders and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Build automation tools for reporting, analytics, and monitoring.
• Optimize system performance, ensuring low latency, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
• Research and apply emerging technologies to strengthen trading infrastructure.

Technical Qualifications

• Proven experience in trading system development and algorithmic strategy implementation
• Expert‑level proficiency in Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, production‑ready code
• Experience working with the IBKR (Interactive Brokers) API or similar brokerage APIs
• Hands‑on experience coding or developing strategies in TradeStation, MultiCharts, or comparable trading platforms
• Strong understanding of data structures, backtesting frameworks, and performance evaluation methodologies
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application to financial markets is a strong plus
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate trading ideas into robust, testable systems
