- Monitor workof staff responsible for taking samples of materials forexamination or analysis by laboratories
- Inspectunderground utility construction including sewer and stormdrainage, trenching, shoring,
- dewatering,bedding for pipe, manhole construction, trench backfill andtesting; oversee decision
- making forconnecting, testing, tapping, disinfecting and installing watermains.
- Prepare detailed documentation ofconstruction progress and inspection; prepare various reports ondaily operations and activities.
- Observe workduring progress and upon completion.
- Ensurethat safety procedures are followed.
- Monitorcontractors, sub-contractors through all phases of construction toinsure compliance with all Specsrequirements.
- Conduct final inspections; reviewas built drawings; compile final inspection correction list andinspect corrections.
